Young Voices Alpe Adria - International Vocal Competition in Graz
The Graz Music Association offers young singers a prominent platform for one week to demonstrate their skills. The large number of registrations speaks to the regional importance of the Music Association.
For years, the Musikverein Graz has been striving to provide a stage for young talents. In 2024, a new singing competition for singers aged 20 and over has been established in cooperation with the Johann Joseph Fux Conservatory. The competition, specifically aimed at young talents and their targeted promotion, takes place every two years at the Johann Joseph Fux Conservatory in Graz and is aimed at singers seeking the opportunity to present themselves to the interested professional world and the public. Individuality and artistic expression are sought after. The repertoire selection is deliberately left to the young performers to best showcase their artistic direction. The competition is open for singers in the categories of 20-24 years and 24-29 years.
- August 25 & 26, 2026, 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.: Auditions in Graz
- August 27, 2026, 10:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.: Semifinals in Graz
- August 28, 2026, 10:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.: Finals in Graz
- August 28, 2026, 4:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.: Awards Ceremony & Closing Concert in Graz
Auditions and the closing concert will take place in Graz at the Johann Joseph Fux Conservatory (Nicolaigasse 2, 8020 Graz).
