The whisky tasting "Gordon & MacPhail meets IWCA" at Rosehill in Graz presents selected Scottish bottlings and expert insights into their maturation.
On September 17, 2026, the Rosehill in Graz will showcase Scottish whisky culture. The tasting “Gordon & MacPhail meets IWCA” will present selected bottlings from a traditional Scottish whisky house. It will start at 7 p.m.
Gordon & MacPhail has been involved in whisky maturation for over 120 years, placing special emphasis on the selection and care of the oak casks used. The tasting selection ranges from Benromach to The Vintage Malt Company, as well as special bottlings from the Connoisseur’s Choice series.
The evening will be guided by Market Manager Catherine Campbell, who will introduce Gordon & MacPhail and the whiskies presented. The focus will not only be on the individual bottlings but also on their flavors, backgrounds, and the role of cask maturation.
The tasting is organized by The Islay Whisky Chapter Austria. The event will take place at Rosehill, Rosenberggasse 1, 8010 Graz. The lecture will likely be held in English.
