Walk to the Kesselfall Gorge

The Kesselfallklamm will provide the setting for a joint morning hike in Semriach on Saturday, August 8, 2026. The two-hour tour starts at 9:00 a.m. and combines outdoor activity with the opportunity to choose between two different levels of difficulty.
Participants can choose between the classic circular route through the Kesselfallklamm and an extended variant. The longer route includes around 100 additional meters of elevation and is aimed at participants who wish to stretch their hike a bit. Both options are offered as part of the same event, allowing participants to tailor the route to their personal fitness levels.
The meeting point is the Gasthaus Sandwirt, and after returning, there is an opportunity to stop at the inn. The hike takes place from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and is free of charge.
The event is part of the “Tour de Steiermark” of the Movement Revolution, an initiative of the Health Fund Styria in cooperation with the three sports umbrella organizations. Registration with Johann Zinterl at +43 676 6793174 is required for participation.
The Sandwirt is accessible by public transport.
