Tomorrowlend

On August 28 and 29, 2026, the Tomorrowlend Festival transforms the Graz Lendplatz into an open meeting point for music, culture, and communal urban life for two days. The festival is a highlight of the event series Lendstrom, which was initiated in 2025 by Graz musicians and artists. The goal is to sustainably establish the Lendplatz as a vibrant urban cultural venue and to make the diversity of the district experienceable for visitors from Graz, Styria, and beyond.

The open-air program starts at 3 p.m. on both days. Friday afternoon and evening will be shaped by the Lendstrom Crew, which consists of local musicians, DJs, and artists who have influenced the event format from the very beginning. On Saturday, an energetic program will be created in collaboration with the Graz drum and bass collectives EBB and Massive Playgrounds, bringing together the local scene and its diverse communities.

In addition to music, the festival places value on an open and inclusive experience. The low-threshold access appeals to different population and age groups. Activities for children and families make Tomorrowlend a meeting place for the entire neighborhood already in the afternoon. The involvement of gastronomy businesses, cultural creators, and the local community strengthens networking at the Lendplatz and creates additional impulses for revitalizing Graz's city center.

The open-air program ends at 10 p.m. each day. Afterward, the Lendplatz, with its vibrant atmosphere and diverse gastronomy, continues to invite guests to linger and enjoy the evening together. At the same time, the musical program continues at the afterparty in the directly adjacent PPC, where the celebration continues until 4 a.m. This connection between public space, local gastronomy, urban club culture, and a family-friendly daytime program creates a versatile festival that presents the Lendplatz and the Lend district as attractive, creative, and cosmopolitan places.

Tomorrowlend thus represents a contemporary Graz: culturally diverse, inclusive, young, and locally anchored. The festival creates new opportunities for visitors, enhances the quality of stay in public spaces, and contributes to making Graz a vibrant cultural and event city that is visible to tourists.
