Theatre: When the cuckoo cries twice
The folk play with songs "When the Cuckoo Calls Twice" provides entertaining theater evenings in July at the Pack Parish Courtyard with dialect, mix-ups, and a lot of humor.
Ticket: € 14.00 Adults | € 7.00 Children.
The theater group Pack brings the cheerful folk play with songs “When the Cuckoo Calls Twice” by Franz Streicher to the stage in the Pfarrhof Pack in July. The audience can expect a humorous story full of misunderstandings, quick-witted dialogues, and lovable characters in six performances.
At the center is farmer Ferdl Schweigberger, who is looking for a way to discreetly get money with an unusual invention. Together with his friend, small farmer Severin Waxegger, he wants to finance their shared, social outings. However, the plan quickly goes off track, as their two assertive wives are convinced they have their husbands firmly under control at all times.
What follows is a turbulent mish-mash with clever ideas, surprising twists, and pointed situational comedy. Authentic dialect, lively characters, and a lot of playfulness give the piece its special charm. Themes such as marriage, jealousy, and human weaknesses are told with a wink and provide for numerous laughs.
Performances will be held from July 17 to 26, 2026 every Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 3:00 p.m. in the Pfarrhof Pack. The folk play promises great entertainment for young and old and continues the long-standing theater tradition of the theater group Pack with a humorous production.
Tickets: € 14.00 Adults | € 7.00 Kids | tickets can be reserved through the hotline +43 664 2062819
