With the summer production “The Lavender Witch”, the Kalsdorf theater group (TRUNK) brings a poetic tragedy to the stage at the Heurigen Kager's Auszeit in Kalsdorf near Graz. The play by Elfi Greiner tells the story of a mysterious lavender witch and leads to a place where fantasy meets reality.

The staging combines symbolic figures with serious and cheerful moments of life. Poetry, fantasy, and contemplative themes are just as central as the question of whether the supernatural can be a curse or a blessing. This creates a theater evening that allows for different interpretations and takes the audience on an atmospheric journey.
