The Oracle has spoken
A pop theatrical quest for meaning based on the graphic novel by Liv Strömquist at the Schauspielhaus Graz
Liv Strömquist is among the most influential comic artists of our time. Inimitably, she transfers societal discourses into the art form of the graphic novel and connects sociological and philosophical theories with pop cultural references. She tells her stories with an infectious joy for dramatization.
Director Katrin Plötner continues her engagement with the author, following two successful Strömquist adaptations for the theater, now in Graz, and designs a multiperspective theater evening with music, promising plenty of insights and just as much fun.
