Summer evenings at the Lipizzaner studfarm

Summer in Piber showcases Styria from its quiet, enjoyable side. The summer evening at the Lipizzaner stud farm in Piber, Köflach, combines regional cuisine with a special behind-the-scenes look at the famous white horses.

On June 12, June 26, July 10, July 25, and August 7, the Café-Restaurant Piber invites you to the stud table on the terrace. The evening begins at 5:00 PM with an aperitif, followed by Styrian specialties and seasonal delicacies from the region. Reservation required at cafe@piber.com

As the light softens and the hills around Piber are bathed in warm colors, the evening tour at the stud facility begins at 7:30 PM. Stories about the tradition of the Lipizzaners, insights into stables and pastures, and as a highlight, the herding of the horses from the pasture, make this evening special. The horses return calmly and cohesively to the stable, accompanied by the sound of their hooves on the ground. The herding of horses takes place only in good weather.

The meeting point for the tour is in front of the ticket shop at the Lipizzaner stud farm. The places for the stud table are limited and can only be reserved (online or at the ticket shop) in advance.
