Summer Festival - Purple Bluze

When the Schilcherhof in Ligist is filled with lively sounds, the Eddie Luis Sunshine Orchestra is a guest. On August 20, the summer festival in Styria will be a meeting place for all who appreciate swing, evergreens, and musical diversity. The occasion is the presentation of the new album "Grosse Kleinigkeiten – Tall and small".

The 11-member ensemble around Eddie Luis brings a sound to the stage that instantly conjures up images. Sometimes the pieces remind of elegant dance evenings from the 1920s, sometimes of famous film hits that remain in your ears to this day. In between, fine arrangements flash up, showing how much love for detail is embedded in this music.

Typical for the Sunshine Orchestra is the blend of lightness and precision. Each musician contributes their part, from the warm brass section to the rhythmic nuances in the background. This creates a sound that is both relaxing and full of energy.
