Summer Festival - Old School Basterds

When the rhythm of the 50s echoes through the air in Ligist, it's time for the summer festival at Schilcherhof. On July 25, the place transforms into a stage for real rock’n’roll, right in the heart of Styria. The OldSchoolBasterds stand for music that goes straight to the heart. Joining them are Stanley, Johnny, Jerry Lee, Vincenzo, and Charlie – five musicians who revive the sound of bygone times with much feeling and skill.

What stands out immediately? The voices. Full, harmonious, and carried by classic doo-wop elements. “Shooby-doos” and multi-part choruses bring back the spirit of the 50s. In addition, familiar melodies and original interpretations transport the audience. Whether to sway along or simply to listen, this evening has its own rhythm.

The Schilcherhof in Ligist provides the perfect setting for it. Nestled in the hilly landscape of the Graz Region, a special atmosphere arises, almost like a small trip into another time. By the way: The surrounding elements also fit the theme. Summer, music, and a place that invites you to linger.
