Interactive fairy tale theater "Rapunzel - Re-styled" in the courtyard of the Seminary, Graz.

The Fairy Tale Summer Styria 2026 invites families and fairy tale enthusiasts to an interactive theater experience in the heart of Graz. From July 22 to August 23, 2026, the play "Rapunzel - newly styled" will be performed in the courtyard of the seminary. This contemporary adaptation of the classic Grimms' fairy tale combines an imaginative production with music and humor, aimed at children aged approximately 3 years and anyone who enjoys participating and thinking along.

Performances take place from Wednesday to Saturday at 5:00 PM and on Sundays at 3:00 PM, with additional dates on August 15 and 23, each at 10:00 AM. The approximately two-hour performances offer free seating; special children's stools are available in the front rows for the little ones. A tent in the courtyard ensures that the events can take place in any weather.

The Fairy Tale Summer has been a highlight of Graz's summer program for years, combining acting, music, and audience participation into a vibrant theater experience. The production emphasizes sustainability, environmental awareness, and a child-friendly atmosphere. Refreshments and snacks are also available in the courtyard.
