Stattegger Cultural Summer
During the Stattegg Cultural Summer, "Streich and Blas" at the Turners Café combines traditional hunting horn sounds and Styrian folk music with wine tasting and a rustic platter.
Reservations requested
Styrian folk music, hunting sounds, and regional cuisine shape the September evening at Turners Café. As part of the Stattegger Cultural Summer, “Streich and Blas” brings together two different musical ensembles on September 18 featuring a wine tasting and a Styrian Brettljause.
The Graz hunting horn players present traditional hunting horn music and provide insight into a musical form that is closely tied to hunting traditions. Together with Knöpferlstreich, they create a program that combines brass sounds and Styrian string music. The two groups represent different tonal colors, which will blend into a folk music program for the evening.
The music is accompanied by a tasting of Styrian wines. A Brettljause complements the culinary offer and also incorporates regional traditions. Thus, the event connects musical customs with wine and typical specialties from Styria.
A reservation is requested and can be made by calling +43 316 695175 or by email to julia@turners-cafe.at.
Stattegg is accessible via public transport.
