Soulful Sofa Songs

As stalwarts of the Graz music scene, Sandy Lopičić and Norbert Wally have known each other since the 1990s. They first encountered each other musically in 2009 during a camping vacation in Corsica. Guitars and accordions were unpacked, wine was consumed, and music was played happily amidst tents, deck chairs, and laundry lines. Since then, no summer has passed without the two hosting camping site sessions on some Mediterranean (semi-)island.

On November 7, 2026, the stage of the Schauspielhaus will be tested for sofa suitability, and the summer camping site setlist will be checked for autumn potential. Joining them are Vesna Petković and Miriam Bichler. Petković has been a musical companion of Lopičić for decades and is known to the Schauspielhaus audience, among other things, for her pre-Christmas concerts with the SoSamma choir. Miriam Bichler has performed and sung many duet concerts with Norbert Wally. Speaking of the lineup: since Lopičić and Wally have often been unsure who will really join them on their summer vacation plans until just before the trip, it is quite possible that the evening will feature additional (and possibly quite prominent) guests on stage among the autumn leaves and well-worn sofas. We will see. Quite certainly present are the children of Lopičić and Wally, namely Lana-Me Lopičić and Benno Hiti (who recently took on the musical responsibility for "The Oracle Speaks" at the Schauspielhaus).

Tickets: are available online at ticketzentrum.at and at the Ticketzentrum, Kaiser-Josef-Platz 10, 8010 Graz.
