Sommerfestival - Aniada a Noar

When traditional sounds meet musical diversity in Ligist, Aniada a Noar takes the stage at the Schilcherhof. On September 5th, the summer festival in the Lipizzaner homeland will celebrate a special occasion: the anniversary of "Noan Freiheit" – more than four decades of lived music history.

Aniada a Noar has been one of the defining groups of "New Folk Music" for many years. Their approach is open and curious. Local sounds form the foundation, but new musical spaces continually open up. Influences from around the world flow in and merge into a sound that feels familiar while also surprising.

Together with Gstättner & Heckel, they create a soundscape that can be both calm and powerful. At times, delicate melodies take center stage, while at other moments rhythmic passages carry the evening. The music evolves step by step and takes the audience on a journey through different moods.

The Schilcherhof in Ligist provides the perfect setting for this. Nestled in the landscape of Styria, right in the Graz Region, an atmosphere is created that allows this music to resonate uniquely. A place where tradition and openness come together.
