Slow Region Genuss¹³ Sommer Highlights

On August 15, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. and on August 16, 2026, starting at 10:00 a.m., two Slow Region Genuss¹³ summer highlights are on the agenda at the Genuss Treffpunkt Höfer in Weinitzen. The first evening combines a regional 3-course dinner with cabaret, followed by a brunch that features Styrian crime literature the next day.

The evening is kicked off by cabaret artist Seppi Neubauer with his program "Hirn mit Ei." The performance is accompanied by a 3-course dinner from the region. Humor and culinary arts set the stage for an evening that brings together two central elements of the event series: regional foods and culture from Styria.

The following Sunday sees the start of the "Murderous Brunch." From 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Claudia Rossbacher will read from her Styrian crime novels. Her crime novels regularly take place in locations throughout Styria and add tension and regional literature to the culinary offer.

The two events are part of the Slow Region Genuss¹³ series, which highlights food producers and gastronomy businesses from the Hügel and Schöckl region. Businesses that are already Slow Food certified or that base their work on corresponding criteria are considered.
