The Rupertikirtag in Modriach combines music and a morning pint with agricultural technology, animals, pony riding, and a diverse family program around the village square.

Tradition, music, and rural life shape the Rupertikirtag in Modriach. On Saturday, September 19, and Sunday, September 20 2026, the volunteer fire department of Modriach will host the fair with a two-day program that ranges from a music evening to a technology and animal showcase.
Saturday starts musically at 8:30 p.m. with the Trio Steirisch Live. Concurrently, DJ 2 Beatz will provide music in the disco. On Sunday, the festival continues at 11:00 a.m. around the village square. In the festival tent, the Trio Stainz 2/3 Stromlos will accompany the morning pint, and from 11:30 a.m. the Stubalm Duo will also play at the village square.
Another focus is the agricultural machinery exhibition. Various businesses present equipment and technology, including agricultural machines, robotic lawnmowers, and quads. The showcase is complemented by a demonstration of firewood production. Animals are also part of the Sunday program: Horses, including Norikers and Haflingers, as well as sheep will be on site. For children, pony riding will be offered from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Modriach is accessible by public transportation.
