A Christmas concert between icy temperatures and cozy warmth at the crib.

The celebrated Baroque violinist Chouchane Siranossian sweeps across the lagoon in roaring ice storms, leaving nothing to be desired in elegance for the skaters in Vivaldi's "Winter." She paints the shepherds at the nativity in sweet colors – sometimes down-to-earth in a Styrian way with Fux, sometimes noble in a Roman style with Corelli, and sometimes dreamily Venetian with Tartini.

Giuseppe Tartini: Sinfonia Pastorale in D & Concerto in d for Violin
Johann Joseph Fux: Sonata Pastorale in A, K 396
Arcangelo Corelli: Concerto grosso in g, op. 6/8, "fatto per la notte di Natale"
Antonio Vivaldi: Concerto in f for Violin, "L'inverno", (The Winter), op. 8/4
Recreation – The Orchestra
Conductor: Chouchane Siranossian, Violin
