Reading: Hedwig Wingler
At the literary matinee at the Kunsthaus Köflach, Hedwig Wingler reads unpublished texts that enter into an exciting dialogue with the exhibition "SIMULTAN."
Admission: € 15.00 pP with registration
When literature and visual arts interact simultaneously, new perspectives on word and image emerge. On October 10 at 10:00 a.m., the Kunsthaus Köflach will focus on this interplay with a literary matinee featuring Dr. Hedwig Wingler as part of the exhibition “SIMULTAN.”
The philosopher, publicist, and cultural mediator will read from previously unpublished texts. Literature does not stand alone: the reading is intentionally connected to the works displayed by Franz Dampfhofer and Christoph Rodler. What is seen and heard comes together, offering the opportunity to perceive art and literature simultaneously and from different perspectives.
A personal connection exists between Hedwig Wingler and the West Styrian artist Franz Dampfhofer. The two share a decades-long creative friendship. Dampfhofer has artistically designed several volumes of Wingler's works, bringing together image and text in previous collaborative projects.
After the reading, Franz Dampfhofer and Christoph Rodler will guide visitors through the exhibition “SIMULTAN.” Admission costs € 15.00, and registration is required at kunsthaus@koeflach.at .
Köflach can be reached by public transport.
