Poetry Slam de la Mur(insel)

Poetry Slam with a light pink touch for those who haven't gone on vacation and keep the city alive during the summer lull. Evening glow, eye contact, rushing water, and an accelerated heartbeat. “Nous aimons l’amour“ is French for “We love the Mur!”

Anyone who has never been to the Mur Island is either not a tourist or has never fallen in love in Graz! When the sun sets and the verses rush into our ears, it’s time: We want to invite you to spend a lovely evening with us. There is something for everyone! Yes, really! Because here comes a cheeky, bold poetry slam that stands up against the lame summer lull. This can happen in many ways, of course. For example, with a sparkling glass of Aperol Spritz in the audience, with an extremely stretched tank top and gold chain in a deck chair, in a few whispered sexy syllables against boredom, or a lament against the heat.

As always, moderated with a healthy dose of wit & charm, featuring professionals and people from the open list, and of course time-limited to 5 minutes per contribution – it’s poetry slam after all!
