How do images arise from thoughts and memories? During the painting afternoon “Paint Like the Pros! – Paint with the Pros”, the current exhibition “SIMULTAN” is the focus. Young and aspiring artists discover the works of Franz Dampfhofer and Christoph Rodler and then pick up colors and brushes themselves. The painting afternoon takes place on Friday, October 9, at 2:00 p.m.
At the beginning, the exhibition is explored together. “SIMULTAN” means “simultaneously” and showcases works by the two artists Franz Dampfhofer and Christoph Rodler. During the tour, the focus is on how the artists bring thoughts and memories to canvas and paper.
Afterward, observation transforms into personal creation: On a large sheet of paper, participants can unleash their creativity and work with various painting materials. The art house provides colors, brushes, and paper. It is recommended to wear clothing that can get dirty while painting.
Entry is free. Registration is requested for preparation at kunsthaus@koeflach.at. Thus, the event directly connects the encounter with contemporary art to personal creative work.
Köflach is accessible by public transport.
