The Alpengasthaus Schöckl will be one of the venues for the ORF Steiermark Klangwolke on July 17, 2026, offering the opportunity to experience the concert together in a special atmosphere on Graz's local mountain. The free public viewing will show the transmission of the Styriarte concert from the Helmut List Halle on a big screen.
The focus of the ORF Steiermark Klangwolke is Gustav Mahler's monumental Symphony No. 2 in C minor "Resurrection". The performance will be conducted by Mei-Ann Chen together with the Styriarte Youth Orchestra. Soloists will include Miriam Kutrowatz (soprano) and Maria Hegele (mezzo-soprano). The ensemble is complemented by the chor pro musica graz and mondo musicale.
For the 19th time, the ORF Steiermark Klangwolke transforms the entire Styria into a large concert hall. The Alpengasthaus Schöckl combines high-quality concert culture with the special ambiance of the Schöckl, making classical music accessible outside the concert hall as well.
