The Gösser Bräu Graz is one of the venues for the ORF Steiermark Klangwolke 2026. On Friday, July 17, 2026, the broadcast of the Styriarte concert from the Helmut List Halle will be shown as free public viewing in the traditional inn in downtown Graz. Thus, the Gösser Bräu becomes part of the statewide cultural project that brings music to extraordinary places.
This year's Klangwolke centers around Gustav Mahler's monumental Symphony No. 2 c minor "Resurrection". The performance will be conducted by Mei-Ann Chen together with the Styriarte Youth Orchestra. The soloists will be Miriam Kutrowatz (soprano) and Maria Hegele (mezzo-soprano). The ensemble is complemented by the choir pro musica graz and mondo musicale.
For the 19th time, ORF Steiermark Klangwolke transforms the entire Styria into a large concert hall. The Gösser Bräu connects classical music with the special atmosphere of one of the oldest inns in the Graz old town.
The public viewing starts at 9:00 p.m.. The broadcast will take place simultaneously on ORF III and Radio Steiermark. Admission is free.
The Gösser Bräu is reachable by public transport.
