Murder Mystery Dinner: ‘A Pub Table Mystery’
In the Bavarian crime dinner "A Stammtischkrimi" at Das Weitzer, a mysterious double murder shakes the carnival stronghold of Cologne in Lower Bavaria and brings the village community to its knees.
Tickets: € 99.90 per person
Two dead, a shaken village community, and numerous personal connections to the victims: The Bavarian crime dinner “A Stammtischkrimi” takes place in Cologne, Lower Bavaria, known for its year-round Carnival imitation. But behind the masks and the familiar village life, a mysterious criminal case is brewing.
Initially, bank director Herbert “Berti” Böswetter is found dead in the market square. The regular at the tavern “Zur Zapfsäule” lies directly in front of his favorite establishment. On the same evening, a second death occurs: innkeeper Heimgard Zapf dies alone at the regulars' table of his own tavern.
While the local police deal with the innkeeper’s death, a special commission is convened for the Böswetter case. The investigations prove difficult, as numerous individuals present knew the bank director or were otherwise connected to him. This not only expands the circle of potential suspects but also increases the number of conceivable motives.
In a village where everyone knows everyone, speculation and mutual accusations spread particularly quickly. Old relationships, personal conflicts, and hidden secrets come to the forefront. Whether all masks will indeed fall in the end will become clear at the crime dinner on October 30 and 31, at 7:00 p.m. in Das Weitzer.
Tickets cost € 99.90 per person and are available online.
