The Chamber Music Festival with the concert "Cello & Bass" promises a unique musical experience! On August 20 at 7:30 PM, an exciting concert featuring an innovative lineup of cello and brass instruments will take place in the cultural hall of Hart bei Graz. Under the direction of Dorottya Standi, the brass ensemble BrassBalance Sopron will perform works from historical to contemporary composers, including Purcell, Morricone, and Tristan Schulze.
The program includes:
- Henry Purcell – Trumpet Tune
- Victor Ewald – Brass Quintet No. 1 in B-flat major, Op. 5
- Edward Elgar – Nimrod from the Enigma Variations, Op. 36
- Ennio Morricone – The Italian Western (arrangement by Marco Pierobon)
- Tristan Schulze – Concerto for Cello and Brass, Op. 59
