The music hiking day in the Lipizzaner home leads from Bärnbach through Piber, Köflach, and the Hundertwasser church with musical accompaniment and regional delicacies.

During the 4th Lipizzaner Home Music Hiking Day, an easy hike through the Lipizzaner Home combines folk music and regional sounds. On Sunday, September 13th 2026, the event starts at 10:00 a.m. in the Bärnbach City Park and covers a route of about two hours with several stations in the region.
The hiking route runs from the Bärnbach City Park through Piber and the Köflach Spa Park to the Hundertwasser Church. The hike is accompanied by various music groups that provide musical entertainment at the stations and along the route. Local delicacies will be offered for refreshments.
The Music Hiking Day will be opened by the Bärnbach City Band and the Oberdorf Mountain Band. The hike will musically be accompanied by Lipipklang, Die Ondrucka, Belgier Spitzbuam, and 5 e samma. As the final stop in the Bärnbach City Park, the Alpenoberkrainer, Helmut Hussler, and Ligist 3 are part of the program.
The Music Hiking Day offers a combination of movement, landscape experience, and traditional music in the Lipizzaner Home. The route connects well-known places in the region and showcases the cultural diversity around Bärnbach, Köflach, and Piber.
Bärnbach is accessible by public transport.
