Little tricks, surprising appearances, and quick changes determine the rhythm of “Splinters.” The clown show by Anatoli Akerman and Christoph Schiele will be performed on August 5, 2026 at the lakeside stage in St. Anna Park in Kalsdorf and is part of the program of the international festival La Strada Graz.
At its center is Anatoli Akerman's clown art. He moves through a peculiar world full of strange inhabitants and, throughout the performance, becomes a part of this stage cosmos himself. Humorous scenes and little tricks follow one another at a rapid pace. The production continually shifts its rhythm and evolves into a versatile clown show that employs situational comedy and precise play.
“Splinters” is aimed at children and adults and is recommended for ages six and up. The approximately 60-minute performance combines international clown artistry with a venue in the Graz region. As part of La Strada, the production brings contemporary street and circus art to Kalsdorf and expands the festival program beyond the city center of Graz.
The production by Anatoli Akerman and Christoph Schiele is associated with the event page for Israel and Austria.
Kalsdorf is accessible by public transportation.
