When everything revolves around four-legged friends at the Schwarzlsee in May, it's time for the International Dog Shows Premstätten again. On May 9 and 10, 2026, the Schwarzl Recreation Center in Premstätten, Styria, will be transformed into a meeting point for breeders, dog sports enthusiasts, and all those who simply love dogs.

Every day, more than 200 dog breeds can be seen. Large and small, fluffy and short-haired, well-known family dogs and rare breeds from many countries. In the rings, the animals showcase their typical appearance, character, and movement. Expert judges evaluate according to international standards.

A small world is created around the competitions. Conversations at the edge of the ring, curious glances into the preparation tent, the tense waiting before the decision. The Schwarzl Recreation Center offers plenty of space and a relaxed atmosphere, just a few minutes from Graz.

The International Dog Shows Premstätten are a fixed date in the event calendar of the Graz Region. They combine competition with encounters and make Premstätten in Styria the center of the dog scene for two days. An outing that can be well combined with a walk around the lake.
