Grazer Korea Kulturfest "Hallo Graz, Annyeong Graz"
The Graz Korea Culture Festival in the Helmut List Hall combines Korean film, dance, K-Pop, gastronomy, and culture over two diverse festival days.
Korean film art, traditional dances, K-Pop, and current everyday culture come together at the Graz Korea Culture Festival "Hello Graz, Annyeong Graz" on September 11 and 12, 2026, at the Helmut List Hall. The two-day program showcases different facets of Korean culture and combines stage productions with film, music, and interactive booths.
The opening night begins on Friday at 5 p.m. with the Styria premiere of Hong Sang-soo's film "What Nature Tells You." At 8 p.m., "The Full Moon" by the Seoul-Gyeonggi Dance Research Association follows. The production narrates the artistic life work of the dance master Cho Heung-dong through various moon phases. Dances such as Ipchum, Jungbu Salpuri, Sanjo Dance, and Hallyangmu are accompanied by live music on traditional Korean instruments.
On Saturday, from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m., the Discover KOREA booths featuring themes like K-Food, K-Beauty, tourism, culture, and lifestyle will be open. The action-fantasy film "Hi-Five" will be screened at 2 p.m., followed by a K-Pop Random Play Dance with the Vienna crew UNLXMITED at 4 p.m.
The musical conclusion will feature two concerts: At 7 p.m., the SM Jazz Trio will interpret popular K-Pop songs in modern jazz arrangements. At 8 p.m., singer-songwriter AHN YE EUN will give her first concert in Europe, blending traditional Korean sounds with modern genres. The event takes place at the Helmut List Hall in Graz.
