Music arises where the moment carries it: in the direct interplay of artists, place, and audience. On August 2 2026 at 6:00 p.m., the French formation Pierres & Fils will present a 45-minute music performance titled “We'll not be torn apart” at GeMeinschaftPark Gratkorn, which combines passion, joy, and carefreeness.
The group brings its repertoire to the streets and consciously works with the spontaneity of the moment. Instead of a clearly defined stage situation, the immediate play in public space is at the center. An original repertoire and the lively joy of playing of the musicians characterize the performance. Pierres & Fils thus targets both young and old and opens up an uncomplicated access to international street art.
“We'll not be torn apart” is part of the La-Strada program 2026, with free admission. The performance in Gratkorn extends the festival activities beyond the city area of Graz and brings a French production directly to the Graz Region. The park becomes the venue for a compact musical encounter, the course of which is shaped by the energy of the ensemble and the respective situation on site.
