Exhibition: Sculpture as a Line of Sound
Sculptures, lines, and quiet sounds: The works of Koloman Wagner bring new perspectives to the Kunsthaus Köflach.
Sculture as Sound Line shows works by Koloman Wagner at the Kunsthaus Köflach. His sculptures appear calm and clear. Lines, surfaces, and spaces relate to one another, almost like tones in a piece of music.
The exhibition will be opened on June 18 at 7:00 p.m. and can be seen until July 31. Mayor Mag. Helmut Linhart will welcome the guests. Remarks on the exhibition will be made by LR Dr. Karlheinz Kornhäusl and Dr. Marianne Hussl-Hörmann. The sponsor of the exhibition, Prof. Anita Frauwallner, will also speak about her personal connection to art and to Koloman Wagner.
Friedrich Kleinhapl musically accompanies the evening on the cello. His music captures the calm, delicate mood of the exhibition and connects sound with space and form.

Thus, Kunsthaus Köflach becomes a coherent meeting point for contemporary art. The house is one of the special cultural locations in the Graz Region and connects regional history with new artistic perspectives. Particularly in Köflach, where industry, landscape, and culture are closely intertwined, Wagner's works reveal their quiet impact especially well.
Köflach is accessible by public transport.
