From Hirschegg-Pack, we head together with the llamas up to the tranquil high pastures. Step by step, the path becomes quieter. The llamas set the pace, calm and attentive. This leaves time for forests, meadows, streams, and the view over the alpine areas around the Salzstiegl.

The day hike is well-suited for people who like to be out longer and want to spend more time with the animals. The llamas are enthusiastic companions. They carry no rush with them but bring a pleasant calm to the group. This is exactly where this special flow of deceleration comes from, which many look for when hiking in the Graz Region.

Along the way, shady forest areas, open alpine paths, and small rest spots alternate. Depending on the arrangement, a picnic at the alpine hut is possible, as is a stop at the inn. This gives the day a simple, down-to-earth culinary framework.

Dates are June 4th, June 28th, July 26th, August 15th, and October 24th, 2026, each starting at 9:00 a.m.; desired dates are possible with at least 6 people with llamas upon registration. Registration is required. A good tip for everyone who wants to consciously experience nature, animals, and the high pastures near Hirschegg-Pack.
