CANCELLED!! From the Eisenbahnmuseum Lieboch with the Red Blitz to Preding, then with the Flascherlzug to Stainz: A ride on the historic narrow gauge line of West Styria.

The Lieboch Railway Museum preserves vehicles and memories of the narrow-gauge railways of West Styria. On October 26, it opens for a guided tour before the actual journey begins.

The excursion on October 26, 2026, must be cancelled for organizational reasons.

The Red Blitz transports the group from Lieboch to Preding. The railcar operated for decades on the route between Graz and the West Styria communities and is today one of the most well-known vehicles of the Styrian Regional Railways. In Preding, the Flascherlzug, a restored steam train named after the appearance of its carriages, awaits. It continues on to Stainz, the endpoint of the historic route.
