Two of the most famous quintets in music history form the center of this evening, which additionally features a hand-picked ensemble: star violinist Benjamin Schmid, Dalibor Karvay, concertmaster of the Vienna Symphony Orchestra, as well as – for the first time at ARSONORE – American violist Sarah McElravy and Harriet Krijgh from the Netherlands on cello.
Two young exceptional talents join them: Turkish pianist Arya Su Gülenç (17) enchants with Liszt’s Dreams of Love, while Daniel Kückmeier (18) immerses himself in Mozart's beautiful musical cosmos.
The evening concludes with Schumann's fascinating Piano Quintet featuring Markus Schirmer on the Fazioli grand piano.
