On the opening night of this year's music festival, the gates of the impressive UNESCO World Heritage site Schloss Eggenberg will open for a special cultural highlight. Franz Herzog and the renowned Vocalforum Graz, one of Europe's leading choirs, will meet the highly awarded Gugg Piano Duo, winners of the International Competition “Franz Schubert and the Music of Modernity”. Together, they will interpret Johannes Brahms' famous “Liebeslieder-Walzer” and embark on a musical journey through diverse vocal sound worlds.
The program is supplemented by the ARSONORE Philosophicum, which takes place again this year following last year's great interest. Michael Lehofer, together with Erika Pluhar, one of the most significant figures in Austrian theater, invites you to a dialogue about love as the mental and spiritual force of human existence.
