When familiar Christmas melodies resonate and new musical discoveries awaken the anticipation for the holiday, the magic of the Christmas season unfolds. On December 12, 2026, the concert “The Magic of Christmas” brings festive music to the Franziskanerkirche Graz.

Bass-baritone Walter Nöst, along with Natalia Hiesberger on piano and Vitaliy Lutsyk on double bass, creates an atmospheric concert evening that combines classical Christmas works and modern songs. Familiar melodies meet less familiar musical treasures, opening new perspectives on the music of the Christmas season.

The interplay of vocals, piano, and double bass gives the pieces a special timbre. Sometimes calm and touching, sometimes powerful and festive, musical moments arise that tell of the diversity of Christmas music.

The historically rich Franziskanerkirche in the historic center of Graz provides a fitting backdrop for this Advent evening. Its sacred surroundings underscore the contemplative character of the concert and offer space to consciously enjoy the music.
