When the scent of roasted chestnuts and sweet specialties wafts through the Bärnbach city park in autumn, an afternoon focused on enjoyment, music, and togetherness is on the horizon. The event “Chestnuts and Storm – With Music for a Good Cause” takes place on Saturday, October 3, 2026, starting at 3:00 p.m. and brings together families, music lovers, and connoisseurs.

Visitors can look forward to chestnuts, waffles, gingerbread, and beverages, as well as other attractions for young and old. A bouncy castle provides entertainment for our younger guests. The event thus offers a relaxed setting to enjoy autumn together in the Bärnbach city park.

The musical accompaniment is provided by the Hüttenmusi of the Glasfabriks and city band Bärnbach as well as STAINZ 2/3. The group represents handmade, unamplified music with a diverse repertoire – from traditional Styrian sounds to modern trumpet tunes. The unplugged performance creates an immediate closeness to the audience and combines musical quality with humor and good entertainment.

The net proceeds of the event will benefit a social cause and enable music school scholarships for children from low-income families. Thus, the afternoon connects regional culture, shared experiences, and the promotion of musical opportunities for young people.

Entry is free, and donations are welcome. With autumnal delicacies, live music, and a committed background, “Chestnuts and Storm – With Music for a Good Cause” demonstrates how enjoyment and social togetherness come together in the Lipizzanerheimat.
