Anniversary celebration: 95 years of the Bärnbach glassworks and town band

The glass factory and city band of Bärnbach invites you to the big anniversary celebration in the city park of Bärnbach on Saturday, June 20, 2026. The occasion is the 95th anniversary of the prestigious music association – a milestone for the city and brass music in Styria.

Starting at 5:00 PM, the park will transform into a musical meeting point for young and old. The evening will kick off with a star march featuring friendly music bands from the region, a striking symbol of solidarity and diversity in the local brass music scene. This will be followed by musical performances, after which the "Sulmtal Express" will create a lively atmosphere for dancing.

The program will be hosted by Gregor Waltl, known from ORF Steiermark, who will guide the evening with humor and charm. Culinary delights, regional musical traditions, and an open togetherness will make this evening something special, in the spirit of the Graz experience region.
