The Advent Market Seiersberg-Pirka takes place on four Advent Saturdays in the main square of the community: on November 28 as well as on December 5, 12, and 19, 2026. It is open each time from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and admission is free.
In the main square, there are stalls offering regional foods, warm drinks, and crafts. The offerings change from week to week depending on the exhibitors, but the format remains the same: a manageable outdoor market that fills the main square of the community.
On December 5, the eve of St. Nicholas Day, Perchten will perform. The Krampus tradition is deeply rooted in Styria and is an integral part of Advent in many communities. In Seiersberg-Pirka, it finds its place at the market right in the town.
The main square is accessible by public transport.
