A break in the courtyard at the Graz Museum
With the start of the courtyard break, the inner courtyard of the Graz Museum in Graz transforms into a green urban oasis with space to relax, play, and explore until early September.
Admission is free!
With the start of the courtyard break, the Graz Museum once again begins the summer use of the museum courtyard as an open meeting place. From the opening day, the inner courtyard at the foot of the Graz Castle Hill will transform into a green urban oasis until early September, inviting visitors to linger, play, and explore.
The courtyard break is aimed at visitors of all generations – locals as well as guests of the city. Between historic walls, a relaxing open space is created that combines recreation with cultural impulses. The Graz Museum places a special emphasis on the themes of city and democracy, creating a place where encounter, exchange, and shared experiences are at the center.
Throughout the entire courtyard break, the inner courtyard is open daily. Families will find space to play, adults can enjoy a break in the green, and visitors can experience the museum in a relaxed atmosphere. The offering is complemented by workshops for children.
