Peaceful mountain trails, wide views and unspoilt scenery: from Wieseralm, the route leads via Drei Pfarren, Herrenkogel and Wetterkogel to Hochalm.
This hike connects Wieseralm and Hochalm via scenic meadow and forest trails, crossing two summits along the way. Enjoy sweeping views across the Grazer Bergland and a connection to the Austrian North-South Long-Distance Trail 05. A true hidden gem near Frohnleiten.

Car:
Take the S35 Brucker Schnellstraße or L121 to Laufnitzdorf. From there, follow Laufnitzgrabenstraße and continue on the signposted gravel road Wieseralmweg directly to Wieseralmhütte, where parking is available.

From Wieseralm, follow the marked trail no. 529 along the forest road before the route continues onto a hiking trail. A series of ascents and descents leads via Wieserhöhe, Gendameriekreuz, Drei Pfarren, Herrenkogel (1,642 m) and Wetterkogel (1,643 m) to Hochalm (open occasionally).
The varied meadow and forest trails offer beautiful views of the Grazer Bergland, including Hochlantsch and Schöckl. The return route passes below the two summits and rejoins the familiar trail to Wieseralm before Drei Pfarren.
Back at Wieseralmhütte (open Fri-Sun), hikers can stop for refreshments.

In early summer, wildflowers add colour to the landscape, while autumn brings warm shades of red and gold.
