The cross-country ski trail between the Schöder riding hall and the Fischerhütte cf. Adambauer (Feistritz junction) is a wonderful cross-country ski trail in winter for classic and skating styles along the Katschbach.

Coming from Judenburg via Unzmarkt to Scheifling. Turn right here and drive to Murau. In Katsch an der Mur, keep right again and drive to Schöder.

Coming from Tamsweg via Ranten (or Stadl an der Mur) keep left towards Schöder.

From the riding hall in Schöder you walk on the snow-covered meadow towards Schöderbach. Along the stream you come to Baierdorf on the shady side. Baierdorf West is possible to get started. The trail leads over the shady side along the Katschbach towards Feistritz to the Fischerhütte vlg. Adambauer. The cross-country ski trail offers four circuits that you can walk and the same cross-country ski trail leads you back to the starting point.

Attention: The cross-country ski trail is only groomed when there is good snow conditions!
