The Schwarzsee-Hochmoor trail is a pure cross-country skiing paradise for all winter sports enthusiasts at Turracher Höhe. With fantastic views and challenging sections, it is ideal for advanced cross-country skiers.

Coming from Judenburg via Unzmarkt to Scheifling. Turn right here towards Murau. Continue straight on from Murau to Predlitz. In Predlitz, turn left and take the winding main road up to the Turracher Höhe.

Coming from Tamsweg, drive straight ahead on the main road as far as Predlitz. Turn right in Predlitz and take the winding road up to the Turracher Höhe.

From the Sonnalm, the trail leads around the Schwarzsee in the direction of the Zirbenwaldbahn and turns around at the Turrachbahn mountain station. From there, the trail follows almost the same route back to the Sonnalm.

The Hochmoor trail can be reached via the Weitental trail with the Wildkopfbahn cable car. Otherwise, the Sonnalm can be reached via the slope.
