This is a wonderful Nordic walking tour towards Dorferalm.
Excellent scenic tour to get to know the community of Krakaudorf and its surroundings better. The higher you go, the more viewing points are offered and the more benches invite you to relax and enjoy.

More information
East: From Vienna on the A 2 and S 6 to Leoben and St. Michael i. d. E., continue on the S 36 to Judenburg and on the B 96 to Murau. From Murau via Ranten to Krakau.
West, North: From Bregenz/Innsbruck via the A 12, A 93 and A 8 to Salzburg. From Salzburg on the A 10 to St. Michael im Lungau. From here on the B 96 to Tamsweg and further towards Murau via Sauerfeld to Krakau.
South: From Klagenfurt on the B 83 to Scheifling. Then take the B 96 to Murau and on to Krakau.
From the municipal office head NW and past the turnoff to the bathing lake or Kalvarienberg. Immediately after the curve (bank) turn to the Schaflechner farm. On the moderately rising access road (3 serpentines) to the Schaflechner farm. Here to the N (right) on the moderately ascending path to the forest path.
Follow the forest path, which slopes slightly to the west, to the bend and then to the municipal road. Follow the community road about 100m to the west (right) to the country road and continue on this to the church. Right past the parking lot along the access road and between the sports facilities onto the path that leads past. Turn left here and follow the path in the east direction until you reach the state road. Turn left on the state road towards the starting point and through the town to the municipal office.
A short detour to the Krakaudorf bathing lake is highly recommended.

Public parking spaces are available at the municipal office in Krakaudorf.
The ideal time for this tour is from April to October. Information brochures are available at the various information offices.
