Beautiful power place hike from Krakaudorf to Rantenbach and from here back to Krakaudorf. There are seven places of particular quality along this tour.

More information

East: From Vienna on the A 2 and S 6 to Leoben and St. Michael i. d. E., continue on the S 36 to Judenburg and on the B 96 to Murau. From Murau via Ranten to Krakau.

West, North: From Bregenz/Innsbruck via the A 12, A 93 and A 8 to Salzburg. From Salzburg on the A 10 to St. Michael im Lungau. From here on the B 96 to Tamsweg and further towards Murau via Sauerfeld to Krakau.

South: From Klagenfurt on the B 83 to Scheifling. Then take the B 96 to Murau and on to Krakau.

From the municipal office towards the end of the town - at the village museum turn right on path number 8 - follow this to the "Talbauer" - at the fork in the road turn right - along the stream - over a bridge - continue along the stream - over the footbridge - along the Rantenbach - over the second footbridge to the left side of the stream - follow the path a short distance to point 7.5 - on the same path back to the marking path 9b to Krakaudorf - follow this - on path 9 left towards Oberetrach to point 7.7 - on path 9 back to Krakaudorf
