This is a very long and difficult mountain bike tour. This should only be ridden by experienced cyclists.

From the high plateau, the Krakautal valley, the route leads into the Seetal valley and on to Lessach and Lake Preber. This means that there are a few meters of elevation to overcome, but this tour offers wonderful scenery. Furthermore, a short break is possible in Tamsweg, the district capital of the neighboring district of the same name, Tamsweg.

Coming from Judenburg via Unzmarkt to Scheifling. Turn right here and drive to Murau. In Murau keep right again and drive via Ranten to Krakau.

Coming from Tamsweg drive over the Prebersee to Krakau.

We drive from Krakaudorf along Krakaudorfstraße to Seebach and turn right there towards Tamsweg. After Seebach, the road climbs. At the first opportunity, we turn right towards Ocherling. This road takes us to Krakauschatten and on to Moos, where we head towards Tamsweg. After about 2 km, we turn left onto a gravel road that takes us over the Hochwaldriegel into the Seetal valley. When we reach the main road again, we turn right and follow the road via Sauerfeld to Tamsweg. At the fork in the road shortly before Tamsweg, we keep to the right and when we can no longer continue straight ahead, we turn right again. After a few meters, we keep to the right again at the fork in the road and then turn left towards Lessach.
We cycle through Wölting and on to Lessach. In Lessach, we first head towards the church and then turn right. The road now slopes slightly and makes an S-bend. When we reach the fire station, we turn left and cycle over the bridge across the Lessach. We keep to the right for now, and when we reach a chapel, we continue straight ahead. We pass a few houses and then come to a fork in the road. Now we keep to the left and cycle uphill. At Lechnergut, the paved road turns into a gravel road. Follow this through the forest until you reach Prebersee. Cycle along Preberstraße until you come back to the familiar intersection in Moos, where you now turn left and cycle back to Krakau.
