Fancying a romantic get-away with an amazing view? You have just found your perfect destination. Chalet Elsa is a stand-alone heritage building with parts of the building dating back to the 15th century which hosts visitors from near and far following thorough renovations. The 86 m2 holiday apartment on the first floor is for exclusive use by our guests while the owners use the ground floor when we are here. Sauna and roofed patio with BBQ are shared spaces for alternating use.

As I am a passionate hostess, I decided to open the first floor of Chalet Elsa to guests from around the world. Chalet Elsa - named after my beloved grandma - has been in the family since 1954. After my grandmother passed away, the chalet was renovated with the help from my family throughout 2013 to 2022. It now offers modern amenities. I have been living and working in Vienna since 1996 and love to spend my spare time with family and friends in Murau. I have a good network in Murau ensuring perfect care for guests.
