Seven churches lookout tower

Neumarkt in der Steiermark

Close to the 'Buschenschenke Zeischgl' in Mitterberg is this 14 metre high tower which affords a fantastic view of the Zirbitzkogel as far as the Lower Tauern and - as the name suggests - over seven local churches. Right next to it is a large relaxing swing for you to sit back in.

A view from Mariahof (castle ruin "Steinschloss") to the village "Mühlen" - and always in view the "Zirbitzkogel". From the tavern "Zeischgl" it's only a short hike - so definitely stop there for a bite to eat.
