The farm has been in family ownership since 1898 and is managed close to nature out of conviction.
The Zirbitz sheep, predominantly Tyrolean mountain sheep, Jura sheep, and Merino land sheep, spend the summer months on the pastures and alpine meadows with lush grasses and herbs on the sunny side of the Zirbitzkogel. Grazing the alpine meadows is beneficial for both people and nature. This helps to preserve the alpine areas in the nature park, promoting the diversity of plants and animals. Furthermore, the herb-rich diet and the on-farm, stress-free slaughtering give our lamb meat its unmistakable aroma.
Their mother animals give birth throughout the year, ensuring a continuous supply of lamb meat.

From May 1st to the end of September, you can also obtain our products at the campsite!
