The Hölzler Hütte is nestled in the picturesque mountain world of the Wölzer Tauern at 1,535 m above sea level.

Not only the roof, but also the exterior walls are covered with wooden shingles. They protect against frost damage and moisture, act as thermal insulation and absorb sound. Another major advantage is the durability of the untreated material.
