In the idyllic setting of the Murau region, the Knappenwirt in Mariahof, which has been awarded the "Kulinarium Steiermark" and "Gault&Millau," combines modern cuisine with Styrian home cooking. Here, you can indulge in culinary delights of the highest quality in the light-flooded winter garden, in the cozy guest room, or in the charming beer garden. The chef Michael Lohr particularly emphasizes regionality and the use of seasonal products when preparing his dishes.

On top of that, the Knappenwirt also has a well-stocked wine cellar - so the right accompaniment to the lovingly prepared delicacies is definitely provided. Child-friendly restaurant: The younger guests can choose from their own children's menu and receive colored pencils for painting. If desired, the children can borrow toys play in the outdoor playground. In summer, the in-house mini golf course offers fun for young and old.
